TEMU Dwarfs Sales Volume of Biggest E-Commerce Operators in Hungary
Chinese e-commerce business TEMU filled around 9 million orders in Hungary in 2024, level with the order volume of the top ten online retailers with a local presence, a report by PwC Magyarorszag prepared in partnership with Mastercard Magyarorszag shows.

The report shows gross sales of the 15 biggest e-commerce companies with bases in Hungary climbed 12.4pc to HUF 463.1bn in 2024. Order volume of the companies increased 34pc to 12.1 million.

Alza.hu led the ranking of the companies. Kifli.hu was runner-up, followed by Media Markt, IKEA and Tesco.
