Firefighters battled a house fire in York County that left one person without a home.

Crews responded to the blaze at a home in the 4700 block of Carlisle Road/Route 74 near Harmony Grove Road in Dover Township at 1:48 p.m. on Friday.
The home was engulfed in heavy flames.
A stretch of Carlisle Road/Route 74 was shut down while crews fight the blaze. The road has since reopened.
Dispatch said no injuries have been reported at this time.
One person was displaced and is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The Dover Township Volunteer Fire Department is the primary agency.
