McCall, ID (CBS2) — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred early Saturday morning on South Fork Road at mile marker 19 just southwest of Yellow Pine.
A 2017 Ford F350, driven by a 62-year-old man from McCall, was traveling north when the driver failed to navigate a curve, veered off the road, and struck a tree. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene.
A 59-year-old woman from Donnelly, who was a passenger in the vehicle and also not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.
